As a custom manufacturer, California Shutters Inc. offers a wide range of different styles of shutters which include: four louver sizes (movable or fixed), three different frame styles, raised panel options, and different divider rail placements. In addition, there is virtually no widow shape that we cannot treat. If you can imagine or draw it, we can probably make it.

  Your choice of louver widths include:
2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4 1/2". Narrower louver widths are normally used for a more formal or traditional decor whereas larger widths usually compliment more casual or contemporary settings. 4 1/2" louvers are wonderful for lake, river, canal or ocean views. But of course the ultimate choice is the client's.

  Our framed shutters are available in three different frame styles. We offer an "L" frame for typical outside mount installations and two "Z" frames (one beaded frame and one decorative molded frame) for inside mount installations. The decorative molded "Z" frame adds a beautiful finished look to the shutters.

  We can manufacture shutters with or without solid raised panels which can conceal wall space between windows or above or below windows. Another option is the choice of a divider rail or no divider rail for the shutters. A divider rail will allow louvers above and below the rail to operate independently. Keeping the louvers below the divider rail closed can add privacy or conceal wall space behind them.

  Arches, sunbursts, and sloped windows are our specialty. Many companies offer stock or laminated shutters in standard sizes only. Others purchase arches from other companies. We and our customers demand the best...so we manufacture our special shapes ourselves.
